5K to 200m | Multiple event wins
Dirigo athletes covered the full range at MECTA in Falmouth, from the 5K to the 200m. Laurel Manville won three events, Harrison Osborne and Seth Crockett each won two, and Chris Kibler, Nathan Priest, and Sam Stolkner stacked strong age-group results across multiple races.

Dirigo's mid-July stretch was packed with front-end results: Sammy Mills won the Moxie 5K in 15:23 with Harrison Osborne second in 15:28, Justin Freeman won the Bill Luti 5 Miler, Romayn Richards and Karley Piers won at Westbrook Strong, and Heather Gallant won Emily's Run. The MECTA State Championships added major range from 5K down to 200m, with multiple event wins from Laurel Manville, Harrison Osborne, Seth Crockett, and Chris Kibler.
Rob Gomez and Craig Robinson went 1-2 at the GRBA 5K on July 3, then Dirigo spread out across Maine's July 4 races. Heather Gallant was the top woman at Friends on the 4th in Winthrop, Nate Priest cracked the men's top 10, and Bridgton brought more front-running with Karley Piers second woman, Taylor Bickford fourth overall, and Daniel Bannon top masters in eighth.
Dirigo opened July 4 with another major result from Bethanie Brown, who won the women's race at the L.L.Bean 10K in 36:14. Eliza Kerschner, Cait Bourgault, and Erica Jesseman all finished in the top ten women, and Jonathan Clement, Kristin Barry, and Christie Tebbets each won their age group in a deep team showing in Freeport.
Dirigo closed May and June with wins, podiums, and a youth state-title relay. Eliza Kerschner was third at the Vermont City Marathon in 2:54:03, Sheri Piers won the Memorial Day 5K in Cumberland, Taylor Bickford won the Market Square Day 10K, Michelle Lilienthal won the Trail to Ale 10K, and Karley Piers returned to Maine with a 23:33 win at the Gorham 4 Miler. Justin Freeman ran 15:29 at Battle Road, Daniel Bannon placed at both Memorial Day and Coconut Chase, Seth Crockett was seventh at Old Port, and Dirigo kept showing up at the Weekly Back Cove Series.
The Dirigo 5K, held in memory of Dan Dearing and Shiloh Schulte, drew a growing field. Luke Marsanskis won in 14:31 and Bethanie Brown took the women's victory in 17:07; multiple athletes recorded PRs and Maine Running Photos captured the day.
